Aim

This course is intended to equip those involved in the management of signalling work or signalling training and competence with the basic knowledge of the technologies, working practices and requirements involved in the industry.

Objective

By the end of the course the successful delegate will be able to:

• Explain the operation of key signalling systems
• Explain the difference between key types of activity
• Explain the roles of training and competence in railway safety management
• Locate the standards appropriate to a particular activity
