This course is intended for signal engineers, who are Works Verification testers, to become Functional testers for location circuitry.

Course Outcomes
On successful completion of this course, the delegate will be able to:
- Describe the principles of verification Testing
- Identify suitable methods for testing different circuitry
- Perform check Marking of diagrams
- Perform Location functional testing
- Make Alterations and associated testing
- Perform Integration testing
- Record and Document test activities
Assessment and Certification
Achievement of the Course Outcomes will be assessed by a practical assessment.
The delegate’s achievement of the Course Outcomes will be confirmed by a certificate which will be forwarded to the nominated client contact following the course.
Pre-Requisites
A well prepared delegate is expected to
- Already attained Module 3c competence
- Be able to perform location verification testing
- Be able to understand wiring circuitry
- Have a knowledge of check-marking as defined in Network Rail standards
Practical Information
Duration: 4 Days + 1 Day one to one Assessment
Location: at our Derby training centre, or on your premises (access to equipment is a requirement of this course)
