Target Audience

This module is designed to train persons who are responsible for Producing Functionally Equivalent Signalling Design in their work. It is designed to develop knowledge, understanding and skills as defined in competence standard Sig 54: Undertake Functionally Equivalent Signalling Design, and is therefore particularly suited to persons required to prove their competence in these areas. 

Aim 

Provide the underpinning knowledge and practical experience in Production of Functionally Equivalent Signalling Design in accordance with NR/L2/SIG/11201/Mod A2-9

Learning Objectives

At the end of the training the successful delegate will be able to undertake Functionally Equivalent Signalling Design in the following 3 elements:

Element 1    Determine and review the technical and engineering requirements for the design

Element 2    Produce Functionally Equivalent Signalling Designs.

Element 3    Undertake independent checking of Functionally Equivalent signalling designs

Assessment and Certification

The course concludes with theoretical and practical assessments to confirm achievement of the Learning Objectives. The delegate's end of course certificate will confirm their areas of success.
