IRSE Convention Day 2 - Really good tour of BNSF and GE facilities today and some good insight to technical equipment and Positive Train Control. No pictures allowed at GE unfortunately but the technical tour was excellent.

Congratulations to Rob Taylor-Rose who is the first winner of our Signet/IRSE Award who achieved the best mark in an individual module (Module 1) of the IRSE Examination. Rob is a Signalling Project Engineer at Network Rail in Stratford. The award supports the attendance by the winner at the IRSE International Convention (this year in Beijing, China).
We all had a lovely day on Tuesday celebrating - thank you to all those who came along to celebrate with us - a special thanks to the Rt Honourable Margaret Beckett for unveiling our celebratory plaque to mark this auspicious occasion
